Life threatening experience

Just to note that one this date me and my family had a great escape! We faced a life threatening experience. Firstly we're on our way back from Penang. The incident happened after tanjung malim.

It was raining so I guess the road is slippery. There's a oil tanker on the slow lane, in the middle lane there's an unser and on the fast lane is a Waja. While our car is two cars behind the Unser. Out of a sudden like a message from top to me "Look at the oil tanker". Then I look at the oil tanker after a second or two. The oil tanker suddenly swerve to the right like it's avoiding a car on that lane. It hits the Unser. The Unser went to the fast lane. While the oil tanker hits the divider on the right(fast lane). All of us braked at that moment! Luckily no pile up happen behind us. After the oil tanker hit the divider it swerve back towards the slow lane.

It slowed down the impact of course but it's not enough. The divider on the slow lane couldn't stop the oil tanker. It just went down like it's not there at all. Then the lorry fell off the cliff. Everyone was stunned at that moment!

In my mind is just to say call the ambulance and police. And my sis did so. We just drove off the accident place. After reaching home, only I realised I should stop down and give a hand. Maybe my mind can't think properly at that moment of that time.

I just need to say that to god. If I had driven 10km/h faster at one part. It would be use being smacked by the oil tanker! My mum and my sis had trauma that night, they can't sleep! While I just can't believe what I witnessed because this thing should only happened in action movies eg Die Hard. Thank god once again for protecting my family.

Mogwai Concert!!

Today must be my lucky day!!! I won a free pass to watch Mogwai. Yes Mogwai that rock band from Glasgow! Yeah that's them. They mainly play instrument only and without vocals. I seriously think you all readers should download and listen to it. Ok here how I won it.

Firstly I was surfing around lowyat.net . Then I came across this competition where you can win free pass to Mogwai concert. Special mention for Tuborg on sponsoring this event and the competition. The competition requires you to write a slogan for Mogwai. Well I must admit I'm not a slogan guy. But on that day.... suddenly there's one light bulb came across my head. I just wrote what came into my head.

Fast forward a few days later. A phone call came right after I'm watching Federer's match. There's a girl that called me. Firstly I thought it's a direct sales, credit card sales etc. Turns out that lady said "Did you join the Mogwai concert from Tuborg? Congratulations you have won the tickets to watch them this coming 21st Jan!!!" My mind was so happy that I feel estatic!!! This is because I have never won any good things through competition. That's 26 years long. Wow the feeling I can't define it. Thanks to Tuborg once again for sponsoring me to this concert.. haha

One sentence came across my mind "Every great journey, starts with a single step". If I had not taken the initiative to join the concert, I would not have won it. I will seriously remember this teaching for my whole life. I hope you do too!

New Year Resolution 2009

I've decided to post a list of New Year Resolution for 2009. So here goes
1. Travel more! So far planned for the year: Bali, Bangkok, Yogyakarta, Hong Kong, NZ
2. Spend more time with my loved ones and parents. Love them more!
3. Find a new job. Really behtahan the current job, time to move on. This should be high in my year 2009 resolution
3. Play more tennis. Master the backhand topspin, slice and the serve
4. Start playing futsal again but not GK position haha.
5. Pick up wingchun kungfu. I'm downloading the videos about wingchun lol. So I think just tipu tipu learn from there.
6. Learn french! It's so sexay!
7. Invest in good stocks that is fundamentally strong.
8. Save money as year 2008 I spend but didn't save at all!
9. Be more optimistic!

Okay I think I better stop here, or the list will be too long for me to accomplish!

My summary of year 2008!

Ok I'm late for my own year end review. Well it's how I am as usual, late for everything. My company's kpi review also is like out of schedule for every year , so ermmm I think this is my nature. I'm always late!!! Yeas 2008 is like a very bad year overall for everyone. The economy downturn, people losing job, greedy people left off the hook, recession hitting all around the world. So I will think that it's a bad year overall for the world. All this happens because of human greed!

Human greed leads to a lot of bad and evil thing. This recession and economy downturn happened because of human greed as well. Those bankers are at fault for most of it. They should be penalised but most of them are left off the hook. So I must really remember to not greed in my life. I will try to remind this to myself everyday.

The following is my highlight for 2008:
1. Traveled to Thailand twice on 2008. Once is Bangkok and Krabi the next. LOL.... To tell you the truth I like Thailand a lot. The people are quite pleasant and friendly. They are service oriented and they treat you well and valuable. I'm going back to Bangkok this coming March for a short trip. Krabi is one of the best place I traveled, so I'll be back for sure in the future. Rock climbing baby!!
2. Went to Singapore during first half of the year. It was short trip but it was great!! It was a fun trip there considering I don't like Singapore that much.
3. I broke my first bone in my life!!! I broke my right hand metacarpal during futsal. Yeah a lot of people say I shouldn't break my hand when I'm using my foot to play futsal. yeah yeah, but it's a contact sport so accidents do happen =p.
4. I improved my tennis a lot. My fav shot is of course my forehand, but my one handed backhand is getting all the time as well. Need more practice after my broken bone.
5. I started my Lego collection again. haha my childhood dream of owning star wars lego is completed... I have the best of all, the Imperial Star Destroyer!
6. Nearly broke my company policy of MC QUOTA! ROFLMAO! This is probably the year that I fall sick a lot. Tonsillities twice, and the broken hand :'(
7. Hating my job more lol
8. Owning a lot more jersey haha. One of the jersey that I owned is signed by Robbo during the Masters Football Asia.
9. Seeing my idol Federer up close. Too bad can't get his siggy but seeing him upclose is enough for me to be happy. Yeah it sounds ghey! =p but I think it's my girly side haha.
10. Invested in stupid stocks without good fundamental lol. So lesson learnt shouldn't repeat the mistake again. Must invest in dividend stocks.

That's all generally for 2008, alot more to add but that's all I can think of so far. Bring on 2009!!

Xmas 2008

Xmas is such a happy festive. I still remember when I was young, xmas is such a happy day for me. I still remember opening the legos and toys that I get from my parents and my auntie. It's such a happy day! I'm happy as well during xmas this year but just not that childlike happy if you know what i mean.

It's weird that when we're children all we care about is having fun, loving your parents. But when you get older, the fun part is getting lesser and lesser. We get more weight on our shoulder where we forget about the fun part. Life is so short that we must always remember that it's fun ! Life that is dull is such a boring thing that I for sure don't want to live like that haha. This is a thing that I must remember everyday.

Get a few presents for this xmas..... gift exchange program. Thanks to all that contributed the presents!! Let's do it again next year!

IP MAN!

IP Man..... it's the latest martial art movie on the screen. Initially I really thought it's pronounced as I, P Man or orang IP =p. Internet protocol man LOL. Ok he's called Ip Man. Ip is pronounced as Yip and the Man is something like Mun. The movie is about the person's life. He's the grandmaster of "wing chun" kungfu. He started to teach wing chun kungfu to alot of people and the kungfu is still being practised until today. And the most significant of all he's the master of Bruce Lee. Yes, Bruce Lee that Jeet Kun Do founder.

The movie has a good balance between martial art and also personal life of the guy. It's not like some certain movie where it just focuses on the martial art i.e fearless. Donny Yen do show some great kungfu in every movie that he acted so far. This movie is no exception as well. He played Ip Man's role very well IMO.

All I can advise is to go watch this movie. It's my best chinese movie for the year and certainly the last chinese movie that I'll watch this year. What a way to end the year!

My 26th Birthday!

Wow at a blink of an eye I'm already 26! I really couldn't believe that I'm 26. Most of the time I think myself as 23. It's like a blink of an eye I've passed 8 years since my SPM. OMG!!! I'm living my life to the fullest now. Shouldn't waste my time of my life. Someone told me that once the age of 26 your time will become even faster. It's such a scary thoughts! Ok enough of my age rantings =p.

My birthday wish, I hereby wish that everyone around me is happy and a peaceful world! I truly enjoy my birthday very very much!!! Happy days =)

Kuala Selangor Kelip Kelip

It's my first time to Kuala Selangor , so was quite excited because of the kelip-kelip hype. I've planned for sometime but at last it's executed. Knowing me I have a lot of plans, but lack execution =p. Ah well about the journey. So basically there's 5 of us. Me, Ai Wei, Eddy, Lee Chin and Wai Sie. About the route, I took the North South Highway and exit at Sungai Buloh. From there onwards surprisingly, the road signs are clear. Althought it's a trunk road, it's quite easy to navigate my way through. It takes about 1 hr 30 minutes to reach our destination.

Firstly we arrived at Bukit Melawati, Kuala Selangor. Well it's not the Bukit Melawati that we know in KL of course. Haha. What do we see here, hmmm firstly there's a special species called silverleaf monkey. The silverleaf monkeys looks kinda cool. They have this Beckham like hairstyle. They are quite tame unlike the other species. There's of course the cannon. And most importantly there's a scenic view of Selat Melaka nice ...........

After Bukit Melawati, we went for seafood of course. The restaurant that we've chosen is nice. It's right beside the river, and we're sitted right next to it wahahha. The food that we ordered are sotong, prawn, peeing prawn(lai liu ha lol), crab and also oyster. The best is the char sotong. Omg it's so uber freaking nice. To put the icing on the cake, the bill is so cheap. It's just rm92!!!

Then the main part, to go see kelip kelip. Luckily there's no rain maybe because I pray for it =p. We went to this Kampung Kuantan and please bear in mind it's Rm40 and max 4 person per boat. So please do an arrangement if there's a lot of people going. For the journey you will be on a sampan, and a guy rowing it. You'll be at a middle of a river and it's very dark. At first the kelip kelip will not look that visible because of the lights from the center. Then the further you go, the visibility of those fireflies get higher. It's such a wonder that this insect can generate light to attract opposite sex. While for human it's all about sexiness *yummy yummy drolling, smack myself on the head hahaha*. Then there's this moment where he stop in between those branches. It's such a breathtaking moment for me. Those fireflies around my left right center. OMG unbelievable. Too bad can't take photograph as it'll scare those fireflies off. So please be a considerate person and don't scare them away. It's going to be extinct.

The overall journey takes about 15 minutes and it's a well spend 15 minutes to enjoy a wonder of the world. After that head back to KL and it took ard 1 hr + as well. Went to NZX after that.

Roger Federer's Day

18th November 2008. I declare it's the Roger Federer's day! Well I guess everyone knows that I'm a big Roger Federer fan. He's probably the best ever tennis player. I'm so grateful to be able to meet this great man 4 times in my life. This time is my closest encounter with the great man.

It's during lunch time when I snake out at 11.30 =p. Yeah I know it's wrong. But I wouldn't want to miss the chance to meet my tennis hero. Then met Jessy at KLCC. When I reach there she was queuing up to get Federer's signature. Maybe after 5 minutes waiting the great man arrived. I stormed to the front to have a good look at Roger. And this is how close i got to him. Here

**yeah i know I couldn't get the front shot but still I still remember his upclose look darn. If I'm a girl I would have seduced the guard to let me hug at him. LOL.

After that he went up a level and started to autograph for his fans. Well I didn't get mine, but Jessy did get hers. So I'm happy for my friend. But for me I'm happy as well as getting a glimpse at the great man is enough for me.

Next year Sharapova will come to KL but I think I will not attend it as I'm not a big fan of hers. But I guess her event will be a crowd puller especially hamsupians kekeke. I've two hamsupians friends that already confirmed that they are going damn. Sex does sell no doubt about it.

Anyway let's not get away from the topic. Mad respect to the great man. Hope that he'll get the French Open and beat Sampras's record. Just hope that Fedex do return to KL someday. I will be on MC or Leave by then LOL.

My Life is Without Goals!

I'm currently lost in my life, it's like I'm sleep walking my life through. What I'm doing at work? I don't know. What my life ultimate goal? I don't know. What I'm gonna be in 5 years time? I don't know. What I want to be in this co? I don't know. Some people is happy when it's salary day, but I'm not.

Even when one of my friend is earning 7-8k per month. Most of my friends grow with envy but not me. I think last time me will be darn envy and will want to strive to get that salary. But not me now. I'm changed *fullstop*. For better or worse I'm changed. The only thing that I'm envy is those people that can travel around on their work. That's what I like to but it's rather hard to find in this current financial crisis. Anyway I'll try to give it a shot.

Is this a symptom of midlife crisis? It certainly look like *boohooohooo*

Ok although this news is old, it's worth to post it here. So if you are reading my blog, please do a part and it's just a simple task. Please unplug your charger once you finished charging it. It'll help the world in a certain sense where energy will not be consumed due to those overheard. Look at the quote

I get to know this during a save the world campaign a few years back. In fact those appliances that is plugged into your electrical socket although you don't turn it on, will cause an overhead.

Well I think we knew a few years back about the maybank2u e-banking scam. And it seems that recently Public Bank e-banking has not been spared either. Please look at the following thread here. It seems that crooks are getting worse and worse as the days gone by. What has happened to the good old days where everyone threat each other well. Well to those using e-banking out there, better be careful. Basically what you should do when you are scammed ..................... make a POLICE REPORT!!!

I myself is a strong supporter of e-banking. And I'm having self doubt whether it's secured enough for the long term usage. One things for sure is that, E-Banking do need some additional security measures put in for the long term. What it should be? Hmmmm..... I'll try to think about it, and maybe I'll be a millionaire because of it =p.

As an act of prevention, I think you guys should limit your balance in your e-banking account. Well who knows... it's better to be safe than sorry and I'm not cursing you hehe

Life is no fairytale

Well when we were young we're always told about fairytale ending. Those endings such as happily ever after or happy forever. This is not quite true in a person's life.

1. A human are born. Everyone around them are happy.
2. Then when you are a child everyone thinks you are adorable.
3. When you grow older, you get rebellious. People still find you ok to deal with.
4. Then when you are an adult. No one gives a damn about you and start to hate whenever you did something wrong.
5. Then when you are old. When you can't walk etc etc. People will find you nuisance or in Cantonese called "chor teng".
6. When you die, everyone will be sad.

Life really should be the other way around. It should be ended with happiness. But we can't change how the world work. Human life is so strange!!!

Working is Hell or Enlightened?

Just three days into my work after a "so called" break all bad signs are coming back to me. My eye twitching is back, my face are getting big pimples and I don't feel right at workplace. I really think I will need to leave this co soon because it's like betraying myself continuing at this workplace. I don't feel motivated and I don't care about anything at work.

Even lately the "untrue rumour" of pay rise didn't affect me a bit. While others are complaining about no pay rise, I just carry on with myself and don't give a fucking damn about it. OMG I'm starting to be someone that don't care about stuffs. As I can see money is the route to evil. Majority of bad stuffs happen from money. To name a few: greed, robbery, slavery, prostitution. So money is just something you need for your life. More then that it's called luxury. Luxury in other words is expandable. And I going to be the next Buddha? I don't think so, he's too great a man that I can't even compare a 0.000000001% with him. But saying that I'm enlightened to a certain extend.

I'll just wait till next March and resign by then! I must remember this and don't betray myself!!!

A dream or reality

I had a dream this morning. I woke up dead. Then was taking a train. I know where the train is heading and not to say I dunno where it's going. It stop station by station......... People come and people go from every station. I know I haven't reach mine.

Then after one station and another. I reached the 6th station and I'm suppose to go down. My brain say don't go down, but my body gave in. Then there was. I reached the place that it's. It's hell!!!!!

Just when I thought it was my dream, it's in reality...............

Facebook Usage?

There's this one day that I'm so curious of facebook that I decided to join. Upon joining, I try to look around and can't understand the goal of facebook. Ok I know I'm a little stupid. Actually what's the use of facebook? Can anyone enlighten me? In my opinion facebook sucks. Facebook originally are meant for college and university student. But it make it to the big league after some tweak here and there. And some people like you and me that generate income for them.

This is why I think facebook sucks:
1. A waste of time better of spend sometime on meaningful thing using the time.
2. It's fake! I give you a beer , you give me a beer. OMG what has happened to some real beer outing with your friends at a pub. gosh!
3. People selling themselves. Oh yeah. Comments such as Darn. I'm not that good in self advertising too bad =p. If not then I might be addicted.
4. Poke? What the hell is the poke for? It's so lame I couldn't believe they created this function whahhaha. Poke you poke there. OMG this sound obscene =p pardon me.
5. Wall? Isn't messenger more convenient? Ehem.
6. Those application. Oh gosh. I won't use most of them even if I have nothing better to do!!!
7. Too many profile for a person. Try search aoi sora in facebook, which one is her? There's so many Aoi Sora :(. Did she create multiple accounts? LOL

Please someone enlighten me!!! =p Sil vous plait!!!!

Selamat Hari Raya!

It's Hari Raya day!!! Basically every Hari Raya it's like a routine for my family. We will visit our old place. "Makcik and Pakcik" is the salutation I called them. They are my old house's neighbor. They took care of me when I was young. This Hari Raya I remembered what I did at the neighborhood, ahhhh memories they are so sweet. My childhood is so nice.

The routine, is visit them. Chat and find out how they are doing this year and LOTSA food!!! The rendang is spectacular, considering how deprived of beef I am for a month+. I keep on refilling them, where at the beginning I told my mum "why give me so much food". Sorry mum =p!

Looking forward next year to eat the rendang again!!! thanks Pakcik Makcik. Also taking this opportunity to wish those celebrating hari raya a "Selamat Hari Raya"

A bad bad September 2008!!!

Hmmm I've decided to update this blog with a monthly review of what significant thing that happened in the past month. This is for me to keep track of time as I am quite forgetful (signs of age is catching up which I am still not willing to face it haha).

The month of September 2008 is practically bad for me. It's a health hazard month, this help to remind me to keep my health intact especially when I am old. Ok here we go, this is basically what happened for Sept 2008.

Started the month with sickness :s. It gets worse as the day goes by. Practically I had measles and acute tonsillitis. So I am full of bacteria and viruses =p. Couldn't believe that I had two tonsillitis infection in a year, and now 3 in 2 years. WTF, and I'm having stronger antibiotics over every new tonsillitis. The bacteria is genetically mutating for every new infection damn. I couldn't imagine how the bacteria infection will be next time. Oh darn bacteria go away!!!

Then I resumed work even though I don't feel at 100%. Then another bad thing happened I broke my hand during a futsal match darn. I'll write more about this in detail the next post. Oh and not forgetting, some kid puke at me out of how many acres of space at The Gardens. Oh and there's a cockroach leg in my drink during on of my lunch. darn it's like a very bad month and cursed lol.

So basically this is a standout month for me due to the bad things happened from one to another. But human must bounce back when they are down. It's the essential criteria in life. Must remind myself that

Last Friday had a chat with Jess on MSN. Then this subject of her having a cast on her leg during orientation came up. After that we realized we knew each other for 8 years! Can you believe it?!!! Time really passed by. Just a blink of an eye then it's 8 years shit. It was like just yesterday, and I'm older by 8 years from year 2000. Another blink of an eye then I'll be 34. Really can't imagine that. So time is really very valuable. Spend it wisely.

Time is the only thing that we can't renew, once it went pass it's passed. Ooppss another minute passed give me back my 29th September 11.52 AM!!!! Get what i mean? So I've come up with a list of own how to spend wisely my time. As we won't know how long we will live.

1. Love more (your family, friends,gf/bf etc)
2. Contribute to the world. (this is a very subjective personal opinion)
3. Hate less. (don't waste your time hating something, just waste your time and breath)
4. Don't greed (bad deeds happen from greed)
5. Live happily

That's all I can think of now. Might amend my list next time if I can think of anything. =p. I hope at least 1 person is enlightened from this post, then I'll be happy =)

Shiity Country Politics , Government, and Accumulating Shits for Spectator

As we all know the political front is getting out of hands in a shitty country. There's a three way fight going on. One is the current defending champion, one is a pretender, and another one is a so called "prodigal son". It's a three way fight and everyone has a nickname. Must be canggih la those keng people have nickname want ma. Eg rocket ronaldo, fedex for federer, so this three person also have a nickname of their own.

1. Representing first in the blue corner it's the defending champion. Flip flop!!!
His finishing move is to act differently in a second from whatever he said previously. With this finishing move, he can cause suffering to the "spectators". During the suffering, he can sleep as well. He even have henchman that can overwrite the referee's decision. The henchman can do anything to the spectators or anyone in the country without any judgement. OMG he's the greatest!
2. Representing the blue corner is the pretender nickname C4. This is a sleek old little fella. He can corrupt his way to the victory. He will even swear and provide stupid information to beat any other contestants(ok this is not making any sense). But he has the ultimate c4 the greatest finishing move of all time!!! Maybe he CS too much hahaah

3. Lastly this is an unknown quantity. Either he's the great pretender or a messiah. But from what i see a great pretender he might be. Ermm I'll say 70-30. Will know by next month as the fight will resume. Now it's more a stalemate. Hopefully he'll be the messiah like V!!!!!

I've always wanted to re-blog again after I closed down my previous blog. =p and it took me around err.... let me calculate hmmmm around 1 year to do it. It's 11 months 11 days 3 hours to be exact (ok this is over exaggerating i know). Those that know me will know that I tend to over exaggerate all the time. In fact this is from the family blood. Hahaha all my cousins agree on it =p. In Naruto terms, it's a bloodline limit.

WTF and it takes me so long to start this blog. Man this should be changed !!! Need some action after talk, lol. Or I'll be like the flip flop prime minister (yeah you know who) who promise everything and did nothing!!!

anyway this is my first post in this new blog =p. Dunno what to start so just crapping my way through haha. a new post so it'll be a new hope! never lose hope in your life!
